Terms of Use
These terms are between you and Gigaton Studios, a brand of Gigaton LLC, a Florida company (“we”, “us”). By installing or using Audia you agree to them. If you do not agree, do not use it.
1. What Audia is
Audia reads your PDFs aloud, makes AI-generated podcasts, flashcards, quizzes and study sheets from them, and helps you study. It uses AI, which can be wrong. It is a study aid. It is not professional, legal, medical or financial advice, and we do not promise any result on an exam or a course.
2. Your licence
We give you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the app on Apple devices you own or control, under Apple’s usage rules. You may not copy, sell, rent or reverse-engineer the app, or use it to build a competing service, except where the law says you may.
3. Your documents
You keep all rights in your documents. Only import documents you have the right to use. You are responsible for what you import, including the rights of any author or other person whose information is in it. To make what you ask for, the app sends text from your documents to Google’s Gemini AI (see the Privacy Policy). We do not claim ownership of your documents. What the AI generates for you is for your own study use; the AI can repeat or paraphrase your source, so do not share generated material in ways your source’s owner would not allow.
4. Fair use of the service
Do not use the app for anything unlawful, to harm others, to import content you have no right to import, or to overload or work around the limits on our studio service. We may limit or stop the studio service at any time, for example if it is abused or if our provider stops working.
5. Studio minutes and purchases
The studio features that use AI run on “studio minutes”. Each device gets 10 free studio minutes once. You can buy more in the app through Apple’s In-App Purchase: a pack of 60 studio minutes for $4.99 (the price shown in the app at purchase is the price you pay). Minutes you buy do not expire. Purchases are handled by Apple, so refunds and payment questions go through Apple’s own process. Studio minutes have no cash value and cannot be transferred or sold.
6. Other people’s services
The AI features rely on Google’s Gemini and on services we run on Cloudflare. They may change, be slow or be unavailable. Voices and text are generated by AI.
7. No promises, and limits
The app is provided as it is, without promises that it will always work, be accurate or be error-free. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, and our total liability is limited to what you paid us for the app in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing here limits rights you have by law that cannot be limited.
8. Apple
These terms are between you and us, not Apple. Apple has no obligation to support the app, and is not responsible for claims about it. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these terms and may enforce them against you.
9. Law and changes
These terms are governed by Florida law, without affecting any consumer rights you have where you live. We may update them and will change the date above when we do.
