Privacy Policy
The short version: this version does not collect your information. It has no account, no ads, no analytics and no tracking, and it does not send your play to us. Gran’s Racer is made by Gigaton Studios, a brand of Gigaton LLC, a Florida company (“we”, “us”, “the developer”).
1. What stays on your phone
The game saves a few things on your phone so it can remember you between runs:
- Your settings: sound, vibration, camera view, look, and whether to show tips again.
- Your progress: runs, best times and the daily course you have played.
- A random player ID the game makes. We do not ask for your name or sign you in to anything.
- A short log of your laps, kept by the game on your phone.
This stays in the game’s own storage on your phone. We do not receive it. Deleting the game from your phone removes it.
Two things happen only when you tap them. The Share button hands a picture and text to the iOS share sheet, and you choose where it goes or cancel. The data export makes a file on your phone for you to look at. Neither sends anything to us. Email links in the game open your own Mail app with a message to us, which we receive only if you send it.
2. What we do not collect
This version does not collect your name, email, location, contacts, photos, microphone, camera, health data, advertising ID or device ID, and it does not use analytics or advertising tools. It does not need a network connection to play.
3. If you installed through TestFlight
TestFlight is run by Apple. Apple may collect crash reports and any feedback you choose to send through it, under Apple’s own terms and privacy policy. Apple also gives us, as the developer, information about testers: your TestFlight name or email, which build you installed, how many sessions you played and whether the game crashed. We use it only to improve the game, keep it for no more than 12 months, and do not share it or combine it with anything else. Beyond that we see only what you choose to send us, for example a screenshot or a comment.
4. Your choices and rights
Because we do not hold your information, there is normally nothing for us to give you or delete. You can remove everything the game saved by deleting the game. If you think we hold something about you, or you want to ask a privacy question, write to [email protected]. We will answer, and where the law gives you rights (for example in the EU, the UK, California and other places), we will honour them.
5. Children
Gran’s Racer is not designed for children under 13. The game does not collect information from anyone. If you believe a child has sent us information by email, write to [email protected] and we will delete it.
6. Changes to this policy
When we change this page we will change the date at the top. If a later version sends anything to us, for example your best times, we will update this page first and the game will ask you before anything is sent.
